Persuasive Writing: The Dreaded Outline

Objective: The student will develop the social studies skills responsible citizenship requires, including the ability to formulate an informed, carefully reasoned position on a community issue; and select and defend positions in writing, discussion, and debate.

Students will be able to:

-Identify the relationship between information on an idea map and an outline.

-Organize the information on an idea web onto an outline.
