Persuasive Writing: Yeah, but...

Objective: The student will develop the social studies skills responsible citizenship requires, including the ability to formulate an informed, carefully reasoned position on a community issue; and select and defend positions in writing, discussion, and debate.

Students will be able to:

-Formulate counterarguments based on fact, not opinion.

-Use counterarguments to strengthen and build your t-shirt arguments.
